We need to allow God’s truth to guide us, not feelings (Luke 24.27, 44). 

- What’s required?  Faith.

•Is my worship revealed as superficial or sacrificial?

•Is my life marked by resistance or surrender?

•Is my future focused on fear or faithfulness?

•VIEWS others appreciatively

•SEES yourself accurately

•RECOGNIZES God properly

•LOVES others sacrificially

In handling cultural controversy in a God-honoring way... You need to run life's circumstances through the contextual grid of Scripture (10:7-8)

Confession.

Declaration.

Confirmation.

Faith-defining moment examples:

•Choosing to do your quiet time each day

·Choosing to share Christ with your friend or neighbor
