Asking God “when” is best asked by those:

(1)Who have a personal relationship with God (1:2)

(2)Who have prayed consistently to him (1:2)

(3)Who have a greater concern for the wrongs done against others than themselves (1:2)

 

Asking God “why” is best asked by those:

(1)Who acknowledge the providence of God in theirlife (1:3)

(2)Who embrace the Scripture-derived character of God (1:3)

(3)Who desire for hearts to be receptive to God’s Word (1:4)

The Orchestration of a Fully Supplemented Faith (2 Peter 1:5-12)

Virtue: In our closest relationships, we live out virtue by actively prioritizing our time with them.

 

Knowledge: In our closest relationships, we live out growing knowledge by actively sharing how we’re growing in Christ with each other.

 

Self-Control: In our closest relationships we live out self-control by not doing what the flesh wants and what the Spirit wants.

 

Perseverance: In our closest relationships, we should be persevering even when it’s challenging or hard.

 

Godliness: In our closest relationships, there should be a natural openness to reflect on Christ and be communicative about him.

 

BrotherlyKindness: In our closest relationships, we should be more tolerant of loved ones and our graciousness towards them.

 

Love: In our closest relationships, we should be sacrificing what we want for what others wants.

1. Pray for God’s wisdom when you’re going through difficulty (Jam. 1:2-5)

2. Trust in God’s wisdom when you’re waiting (Psa. 106:13)

3. Give thanks for God’s wisdom when we’re doubting (1 Cor. 1:25-26)

God Is: Just

(1) God is unchangeable in his BEING
(2) God is unchangeable in his KNOWLEDGE
(3) God is unchangeable in his PURPOSES

6 Reasons Why I'm Glad We Worship Together

(1) Because our faith is better together than alone (122:1)

(2) Because we’re traveling to a common destination (122:2, 3)

(3) Because our differences serve a greater purpose (122:4)

(4) Because we may need help remembering to be thankful (122:4)
