Making Disciples

 

Outreach: We are called to share the good news of the gospel to non-believers both locally and globally by words and service.

 

Discipleship: We are called to strengthen others by investing in their personal relationship with Christ.

4. WE ARE CALLED to pray to God and study the Bible as God daily transforms our lives.

5. WE ARE CALLED to serve others by sharing our time, talents, and resources.

2. WE ARE CALLED to worship and instruct in both small and large groups, submit to one another, and come along side others in their needs. 3. WE ARE CALLED to honor God’s design for the family.

We are called to remember Jesus through communion and identify with Him in baptism.

The role of parents is one of great blessing, but also needs to be focused on training our kids to be Christ followers. Pastor Scott Foreman discusses this from Ephesians 6:1-4.

Steppingstones to overcome Failure:

•MEDITATE on the grace of God (1 Tim. 1:14-16)

•CONCENTRATE on being faithful today (Phil. 3:13-14)

•ACTIVATE faith-based steps in the right direction (Ps. 119:105)

What Marriage Should Be:

A relationship where we COMPLETE one another,  ACCEPT one another,  GROW closer to God with one another.

 

What Marriage Often is:

A relationship where we HIDE our failures, BLAME the other person,  and PAY the consequences for pursuing selfish desires.

•Marriage is DEFINED by God as one man with one woman for life (Gen. 2:22-24).

 

•Marriage is DESIGNED by God to confirm our need for others, to develop selfless living, and to give glory to God (Gen. 2:18;  Eph. 5:31-33).
